Sarah Utermehle Legacy Society
The Sarah Utermehle Legacy Society expresses appreciation and recognition to those who create planned gifts to benefit the future and vision of National Lutheran or one of its communities. Named to honor the individual who gifted 27-acres of land in 1890 for the establishment of the National Lutheran Home for the Aged, the Sarah Utermehle Legacy Society celebrates the generosity of donors who make a contribution through a planned gift.
Such gifts are welcomed through bequests, retirement plans, life insurance policies, life-income arrangements, or other financial arrangements.
Gift planning allows flexibility to make a gift that suits your needs and ensures that National Lutheran, through its communities and services, continues to address changing needs of service to seniors with unchanged values.
Member benefits include:
- Invitation to the annual Trustee Dinner
- Recognition in the Society’s Honor Roll in the Annual Report
- Updates on financial reports and the latest program initiatives
- E-newsletter “Choices”
- Donor Story Contributor to publications and this website
The Sarah Utermehle Legacy Society, with chapters at each community, is a source of pride for its members, who set an example for others to follow. If you have already named National Lutheran or one of its communities in your will or other aspect of your estate plan, thank you and please let us know. We want to be sure that we can fulfill your wishes.
